Mayan Riviera real estate, Millionaire Investment for Protected Areas

The National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (Conanp) will invest 24 million dollars this year for the operation, inspection and surveillance of the 22 Protected Natural Areas (PNA) from the Yucatan Peninsula and the Mexican Caribbean, with the possibility to extend up to 10 million pesos with the support of national and international organizations, said the regional director of the agency, Francisco Ricardo Gomez Lozano.

The state of Quintana Roo houses in its territory 30 protected areas representing one million 632 thousand 494 hectares, 11 are under the shelter and protection of the Federal Government through Conanp, it is a natural mosaic of landscapes that make up the flora and fauna of our state, with over one million hectares.

This is part of the investment planned for touristic infrastructure and will be distributed along the State.

Tulum will be one of the main areas where the government will invest.
